Toby Sussex Announces next single, ‘Life Slips’

Life Slips is the second single from Toby Sussex’s upcoming debut EP, Weather Dependent, out 24th May. Following on from the soulful sounds of Feel Better, the Pōneke based indie-folk singer-songwriter picks up the pace with this next release.

Themes of anxiety, procrastination, societal expectation and existentialism bleed through the cracks of Life Slips’ playful and upbeat sound. Using elements of funk, indie-rock and alt-pop, Toby invites listeners to celebrate life in all its fullness and embrace the chaos and worries of this world with a sense of humour and wonder.
