Lips is a Silver-scroll award winning indie band from Tāmaki Makaurau. Originally formed in Brooklyn, NY, they have performed their quirky pop, lyric driven songs on stages across the US and Aotearoa. Described as The Pixies meets Prince meets Devo, they present a dynamic live show full of theatrical joy. In July 2021 they released their Taite finalist debut full-length album I Don’t Know Why I Do Anything – since then they have opened for My Chemical Romance and they collaborated with E from Eels on their 2024 single The Wolf, gathering a slew of new fans across the globe.
