Adoneye is a journey to freedom. Through empowerment, independence and open mindedness, they create spaces and communities that explore catharsis, education, and liberation from mind made manacles. Adoneye do this as an outlet for people who feel disenchanted, who seek behind the veil of maya and the human condition, and want to self actualise for their own betterment, and that of those around them.
Adoneye consists of Lead singer and guitarist Dean Rossell, drummer Oliver Dudziak, guitarist Alun Gunson, and bassist Louis Sutherland. They achieved National success with their 2024 win of battle of the bands, and have toured New Zealand twice, as far north as Whangarei, with Dean having played solo as far south as Christchurch. Repeat performers of the Wellington Newtown festival, and many of Wellington’s halls and bars, they have been in support of the local music scene for nearly a decade. Adoneye has released one DIY 5 track EP, and are currently gearing up for their second.
Regarded highly for their songwriting ability, helpful natures, and equally emphatic and sensitive performances, capable of invoking dead enraptured silence or cacophonic applause from their audience. Adoneye are a captivating pendulum of vulnerability and power.
