Born and raised in South Auckland, 20-year-old Hales is a rising local R&B/Pop talent not to be missed!

After a brief hiatus, Hales returns with two new tracks titled Cry 2 Sleep and Used To Be. Having mild successes with previous releases Loyalty and Petty Love gaining over 70,000 streams and having a live performance go viral on TikTok even being reposted by Israel Houghton of Gospel fame, Hales continues to wow audiences with his deep and thought-provoking lyricism.

Cry 2 Sleep and Used to Be describe a failing relationship that doesn’t look like it’ll work out questioning whether or not the relationship could ever be saved. Hales continues to tap into his more emotional side through the use of lyrics to paint vivid pictures and an arrangement by Y$O’s EDY which helps to drive home that sense of sadness.
