Rhythm & Alps 2020 Festival Now Sold Out

This year, Rhythm & Alps celebrates its 10th anniversary with a sold out, 100% all local line-up. The the three-day festival will be attended by an average of 10,000 good humans per day. Just over 40 per cent of the people who attend come from outside the region helping bring a significant increase in regional spend and a perceptible buzz to Wanaka and surrounding areas.
This is the third year that the festival has sold out.
Festival Director Alex Turnbull says “an amazing response and its important to celebrate the end of 2020 as New Zealanders” .
In preparation of the upcoming event, today, at the Rhythm & Alps festival site the organisers will be hoisting New Zealand’s largest flag to welcome the 100% Kiwi visitors to the region and celebrate the year of the New Zealander. It is 112.5 square meters in size.
