Tunes of I – ‘Running’

After playing more than forty live shows around New Zealand over the past eighteen months to promote their debut album Restless, Wellington Dub Rockers – Tunes of I, return with the release of their second single Running from the upcoming EP.

Running asks questions that we all want answers to. Do we really have freedom or is everything out of our control? Are we just puppets and if so, who’s pulling the strings? It speaks of resistance against oppression, running to evade the clutches of control.

The release comes as the second official single off Tunes Of I’s forthcoming third project, titled Wicked Ways, set for release on Friday, 17 November. Once again – the venture was recorded at Wellington’s Surgery Studios with the Doctor, Lee Prebble, mastered by Mike Gibson at Munki Studios and features five tracks true to the core fusion driven T.O.I sound.
