Hollie Smith to tour New Zealand with new album

Hollie Smith releases her greatly-anticipated third album Water or Goldon April 1, and to celebrate will tour nationwide.

The nine-date tour kicks off in Twizel on March 31 and takes in Wanaka, Christchurch, Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, Whangarei, Auckland and finishes up in Mount Maunganui on April 16.

The Water or Gold tour will showcase the new album, including the latest single Lead The Way, which was released today.

Also included on Water or Gold is Smith’s heart-breaking tribute to her good friend and media personality, Helena McAlpine, who died in 2015 after a long battle with breast cancer. Helena captures the strength of Smith’s vocals, as well as the strength of a long- standing friendship.

Water or Gold was produced by Smith and mixed in New York with Kiwi producer and engineer Aaron Nevezie. Nevezie has been based in the States since 1998 and has worked with the likes of The Black Keys and Danger Mouse.
