Waikato Songstresses shoot for the Stars with Global Record label

Hamilton and Cambridge’s own Coral Pitcher and Anna Saxton are among the select few New Zealand singer song-writing talent to be picked up by global record label Starlight Records.

“Both artists are 19, full of life and extremely talented” reflects owner and Managing Director of The Starlight Entertainment Group –parent company of the record label that despite being fully New Zealand owned and operated fully identifies with the “Global” theme with bands and artists signed in England, Argentina, Australia and of course Aeotearoa.

Coral Pitcher started her journey on stage at a tender age of 6, performing for well over a decade with her mother Emmeline in stage shows throughout the country.

With an eclectic twist and wisdom beyond her years, Coral’s music reflects the highs, lows and everything in between when it comes to life, love and the dramas that may ensue along the way.

Coral has been signed to Starlight Records, with top NZ producers already reviewing and considering working with her through her next stage of her musical development.

Anna Saxton is sexy, sassy and smart, a typical example of a strong modern young woman who knows who she is, what she wants and how she is going to get it.

Her journey has already gleaned success with her tracks Voodoo Doll and Stuff You already garnering chart success and a presence on radio.

Anna has caught the eye of  Billy Chapin –US producer extraordinaire, having worked and helped create massive acts such as Backstreet Boys and O-Town. Chapin’ team are very excited to be commencing work with Anna in the second half of 2013, with Anna flying to the US, to work with Chapin to create Anna’s first official  EP.
