Former NZMIC Musicians Mentor Nominated Twice for Emmy Award

Former NZMIC Musician Mentor, Trevor Coleman, has been nominated not once, but twice, for an illustrious Emmy Award, in the category of ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Music and Sound.’

The New Zealander’s compositions for the documentary film soundtracks, Equator: Power of an Ocean, and Buggin with Ruud – Madagascar; were both produced by NHNZ in Dunedin.

Trevor was a mentor at Kings High School, Dunedin, in 2004, as part of the NZMIC Musicians Mentoring in Schools programme.

The NZMIC say a big congrats to Trevor and wish him all the best for the Awards, which will be announced in New York on the 25th of September.
