It has been 24 years since (Dame) Kiri Te Kanawa sang at the first Mission Concert.

This year, Dixie Chicks were the headline with support from Avalanche City, Morgan Evans, Kaylee Bell and (local band) Badger, playing to a crowd of approx 25,000.
