Jeiel Drops ‘Rabbit Hole’ – A Genre-Bending Pop Odyssey

Following the release of Thru This and its cyberpunk-inspired music video, Jeiel unveils his most ambitious project yet — Rabbit Hole, out today, 9 May 2025. Fusing elements of electronic pop & RnB, the six-track EP explores themes of vulnerability, emotional growth, identity, and resilience, all wrapped in clever wordplay and bold, expressive storytelling.
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Chequered Patterns, Rabbit Hole showcases Jeiel’s evolving artistry and talent for crafting deeply personal yet universally relatable music.
“Rabbit Hole is a collection of songs I wrote when I was way in my head. No matter how much I wish things were different like the other person would act differently or the circumstances would change— they don’t, and I just have to get thru it.”
Tracklist:
- Always On My Mind – A feel good track about falling in love.
- The One – A heartfelt ballad about coming out and hoping the love is real.
- NVM – A sassy reflection on a romance gone wrong.
- Wake Up – Dreamy and introspective, a reality check.
- 7eleven – A bold and fashion-forward declaration of independence.
- Thru This – An empowering anthem about surviving the daily grind.
To celebrate the release, Jeiel is hosting Into The Rabbit Hole — a free RSVP release show on 24 May at BIG FAN, Auckland.
