Tee Hao-Aickin 郝婷婷 ‘tee.’ is a Chinese-Pākehā singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Specialising in violin, tee. has been a part of the New Zealand music scene since forming sibling duo group Ersha Island 二沙岛 with Danielle Hao-Aickin in 2022. Since then, tee. has pursued music creation through a collaborative lens, creating music with her sister and playing strings on tracks for artists such as Tsenate, Reanne Borela, Carawei, Avya, and more.
tee. released her first single, Burnout featuring Iris Zhang on 30 May 2025. The alternative pop track is about feeling too much, too fast, for too long – emotional overload and collapse. tee.’s artist identity is a fluid one, with the goal to explore cross-genres, emotions, and sound with each new release.
