Corrella’s New Single ‘Cookie’ Out Now + NZ Tour This August & September

Fresh off taking home Best Roots Artist at the 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards, Tāmaki Makaurau band Corrella drop the track Cookie, the latest from their album Skeletons.
The single’s release comes on the back of a massive 10-date tour across New Zealand and Australia through August and September, celebrating the release of the new album. These shows are their first headline shows in over a year, and follow on from a busy summer which saw them perform across Australasia with L.A.B, alongside spots at festivals such as Rhythm & Vines and Homegrown.
One of the highlights from their new album, Cookie is an ode to the “controversial” figure Captain Cook. Showcasing the three-headed vocal attack of siblings Pipiwharauroa and Ngawaiwera Campbell, and rhythm guitarist Te Naawe Tupe, the track uses upbeat and laidback instrumentation to talk to the ultimately untimely demise of Captain Cook in the Pacific.
Corrella’s Skeletons Winter Tour will see them performing tracks from the album Skeletons, alongside tracks like Blue Eyed Māori, which have helped them become a new favourite on the NZ music scene. This run of shows will see their only headline shows in NZ for 2025, plus their first-ever headline shows in Australia. Tickets for all shows are moving fast, with earlybirds sold out at each of the 10 shows.
