Janine Releases Sultry RnB Jam, ‘Fit’

Fit is a new breakout sound for NZ RnB artist, Janine. Merging her love for house / electronic music with her sultry RnB vocals. The song is designed to not just get you in your feelings, but make you feel good.

Something you can have fun with and dance to while still keeping you in Janine’s ethereal world. This new sound will gives something new and fresh from Janine and dives deeper into the pop and electronic crossover world.

Fit signals a new era for Janine and sparks intrigue. Fit will be followed by a second single (out July 25) that sits more in Janine’s current audiences comfort zone.

The two singles glue the different elements of the forthcoming album together.

“Over the last few years I found a new love for house and electronic music. This stemmed from being in such a dark place that I couldn’t listen to sad songs at the time,” says Janine.

“I ended up meeting a sweet electronic head who introduced me to a lot of new music and made me fall in love with it. I started gently with crossover artists like KAYTRANADA and ended up being fully converted to the depths of techno.

“After my own experiences, I wanted to create music for my fans that would make them feel happy when they didn’t want to (or couldn’t) cry anymore. I had written Fit years ago but since meeting that sweet electronic head, I rewrote the song (many times) to make it ‘Fit’ us. The result was the song merging my love for R&B with this up-tempo electronicky vibe that I hope will connect with people.”
