Sanoi releases ‘Reverse’, the first track from his upcoming album project, ‘Augenblick’

The release marks the first single off his new body of work, Augenblick, a 19-track exploration in ambient and lo-fi beats, due for release later this year.

“It begins like a memory folding in on itself, time unwinding in quiet rebellion. There is no beat to chase, it drifts weightless and spectral. When rhythm does appear, it does so gently – not to command motion, but to anchor the atmosphere, like distant footsteps in a fog.”

Known more for his house and techno releases, Sanoi explores new sonic territory on Augenblick, finding the producer exercising his creativity in the studio. Due out late 2025, the album features explorations in ambient and lo-fi beats, alongside experiments with odd time signatures and sub-bass drops. The result is a genre-blurring, unexpectedly introspective listen, reminiscent of the late 2000s L.A. beats scene (think Brainfeeder / Low End Theory), reimagined through the lens of a seasoned dance music artist.
