OdESSA Announce ‘Oak Park Avenue’ 20th Anniversary

Two decades ago, OdESSA kicked in the back door of the New Zealand mainstream with their explosive debut Oak Park Avenue – a landmark Indie-Funk record stacked with classics such as Bring The Money Back, Baby Don’t Go Home, Promises Promises, Sugarpop, and I Could Beat You In A Fight, the album captured the raw energy and swagger of a band unafraid to push boundaries.

Now, 20 years later, OdESSA are back to celebrate the album that started it all. On Labour Weekend, the band will take the stage at Wellington’s iconic San Fran for a family-friendly early show, performing Oak Park Avenue in full – plus a few surprises from their wider catalogue. Expect high-octane grooves, infectious hooks, and the kind of live energy that made OdESSA one of Aotearoa’s most beloved live acts.
