Bog Queen

Bog Queen’s self titled album is a collaboration between two veterans of Aotearoa’s music scene: Harry Harallambi, founding drummer of Kiwi band The Dance Exponents / The Exponents, and Stanley Manthyng, Silver Scroll finalist and voice of cult post-punk outfit World Gone Wild.
Influenced by 1970’s rock, Bog Queen could easily be a collab between Bowie and Meatloaf, yet undeniably Kiwi. The songs are satisfying while still unpredictable. Lyrically and vocally this record is just charming, with unrushed tempos that make it so memorable.
Bog Queen are:
Stanley Manthyng (vocals, songwriting)
Harry Harallambi (music, songwriting)
