Having performed in local rock/alternative bands in Aotearoa for many years Shaun has pivoted more recently to composing soundtracks of neoclassical/dark ambient works heavy with melachony and tension (and some beauty too).
His second soundtrack to the tabletop game Dark Dungeons (an official Advanced Fighting Fantasy game) is now available through DriveThruRPG and his previous soundtrack work (co-composed with Ange.Mac) was for the tabletop game Doom Pilgrim (which is available via the Ange.Mac & Shaun Garea Bandcamp).
Shaun is also working on a long-gestating neoclassical/dark ambient project called Themes From Films That Never Were which may or may not see the light of day before armageddon invariably arrives.
