Creative Pwele Launches ‘Little Rooms Concerts’

This May, Creative Pwele introduces Little Rooms Concerts, a new curated listening series designed to bring audiences closer to the music. The debut session will be held at the NiceGoblins Collective on Dominion Road, coinciding with the dual celebrations of Africa Month and New Zealand Music Month.

‘Little Rooms’ was born from a desire to create a sanctuary for music lovers, a “listening space” where fans can hear their favorite artists stripped back in an intimate setting. The atmosphere is defined by “fairy lights, a room full of people, and quiet laughs between sets,” offering an intentional alternative to loud, high-energy concert venues.

The inaugural lineup features a soulful blend of R&B, Neo-Soul, and Amapiano, showcasing some of Auckland’s most compelling voices:

– Tusekah: Bringing her signature warm neo-soul vibrations.
– ASHA: Delivering a powerful, grounded soulful sound.
– Auds.: Known for honest, captivating storytelling.
– Callmeak (DJ): Closing the evening with a specialized Amapiano set.

“This lineup is grounded in soul and R&B – music meant to be felt in the quiet. It’s about celebrating our heritage and our local talent in a space that feels like home.” The event takes place at NiceGoblins Collective, a growing creative hub on the iconic Dominion Road.
