Cruelly

Cruelly, the Grungegaze/Noise-Rock quad from Te Whanganui-a-Tara carry a juxtaposition of screeching feedback to harmonic mellows with all the anger in-between on their sleeves.

Inspired by the Alternative Rock sphere in Aotearoa, Cruelly’s tight-knit community is built on mutual respect and love for what the country’s arts scene has to offer. With 3 years of shows under their belt and opening for bands such as Earth Tongue, Dartz, Office Dog and Ringlets, a nation-wide tour and soon to be touring Japan with their debut release, Cruelly are on an upward trajectory and set sights high in every venture. Cruelly is made up of Haylee Hailwood (guitar, vocals), Sam Carpenter (guitar), Amber Rose (bass, vocals) and Milan Raxworthy (drums).
