Perforation Sisters, The

Based in Dunedin, The Perforation Sisters is a new band made up of Kyla (vocals), Janine (vocals), Megan (vocals and guitar), plus lads Tokesie (guitar), Deano (bass) and Jessie (drums). They are youthful and keen, all trying out original ideas for the first time.

The girls cite bands like The Runaways, The Go Go’s, Fanny, We’ve Got A Fuzzbox And We’re Going To Use It, Voice Of The Beehive, The Bangles, and other female-driven rock legends of yesteryear for their wild, unapologetic female point of view indie rock they are unapologetic about their open and frank views on gender, sexuality and equity.
