The Great Sounds Great music and arts festival, organized by the Eyegum Music Collective, returned to Wellington’s Te Aro precinct on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The multi-venue event spanned 10 neighboring locations including Meow Nui, San Fran, and the Tonic Travelling Stage. A single wristband allowed attendees to experience 40 acts, featuring a diverse lineup such as Beastwars, Bic Runga, Office Dog, Pitch Black, and many others.
