Horn is the musical project of Wellington-based artist Abigail Macilquham, an emerging voice in Aotearoa’s independent music scene. Blending intimate songwriting with a distinctive alternative sound, Horn has steadily built a reputation through consistent radio support across New Zealand, including airplay on 95bFM, RDU, Radio One, and Radio Active.
Horn has shared stages with many notable New Zealand artists nationwide and is now beginning to support international acts, including Mark William Lewis and Screaming Females. Known for captivating live performances, Horn continues to expand their audience through touring and festival appearances.
Following the release of a third album, currently being pressed to vinyl, Horn is preparing for an extensive New Zealand tour later this year. Upcoming performances include supporting Bunchy’s Big Score on their Wellington tour stop and appearances as part of Swamp Soul’s August gig series.
Recently highlighted by Rolling Stone AU/NZ as one of Aotearoa’s up-and-coming artists, Horn continues to establish a unique place within New Zealand’s thriving independent music community.
