Aotearoa’s hard rock juggernauts Devilskin are hitting the road for six massive shows across the country, performing the entirety of their chart-topping 2016 album Be Like The River in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.

The tour will begin at Christchurch’s Town Hall on Friday 24 July and head to Dunedin’s Union Hall on Saturday 25 July, Tauranga’s Stadium Lounge on Friday 31 July, Hamilton’s BNZ Theatre on Saturday 1 August, Hasting’s Toitoi Opera House on Friday 2 October and finish at Palmerston North’s Fly Palmy Arena on Saturday 10 October. Additionally, the band will also perform at The Rock 2000 on Friday 25 September at Auckland’s Spark Arena and at the Amped Up Festival at Brewtown on Saturday 24 October.

Released in 2016, Be Like The River debuted at #1 on the Official New Zealand Albums Chart, earned Gold certification, and secured the band the Aotearoa Music Award for Best Rock Artist in 2017. The album cemented Devilskin as one of the country’s most dominant live acts – a reputation they’ve only strengthened over the decade since, notably taking home the People’s Choice Award at the Aotearoa Music Awards just last year.

From their breakout Double Platinum debut We Rise through to their latest #1 album Re-Evolution, the Hamilton quartet have become a defining force in New Zealand rock. Fronted by the voice of Jennie Skulander, alongside bassist Paul Martin, drummer Nic Martin, and guitarist Nail, Devilskin have spent the past 15 years relentlessly touring and carving out an international reputation. They’ve shared stages with artists including Mötley Crüe, Disturbed, Halestorm, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Airbourne and Coheed and Cambria.

Opening the tour are rising riff-rock force The Boondocks. Hailing from the rugged Āwhitu Peninsula south of Auckland, the two-piece powerhouse; bassist/vocalist Scott Parker and drummer Branden Pritchard have already supported the likes of Shihad, Tadpole and Villainy, completed three nationwide tours of their own and become The Rock kiwi favourites.

The pair are now set to join Devilskin on the road for a second time, mounting up to be a full-thottle live spectacle. Tickets on sale now.
