Based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Zac Harding – known as Infectiouss is an acclaimed producer, award-winning songwriter, street artist, performer and Christchurch Hip-Hop laureate. He has produced songs for legendary New Zealand pioneers and cutting-edge regional acts.

As one half of Martian Law alongside emcee Roarz, he crafts bold, immersive productions that push creative boundaries. The pair grew a steady underground following with singles like Temple of the Sun & Wound-Up featuring cinematic visual production shot at the Christchurch Arts Centre. To date the duo have released two full-length albums in the Martian Law album series and are in rollout for the third, entitled Martian Law 3: The Trophic Cascade which is slated for final release late 2026.

Infectiouss has an extensive catalog, releasing a dozen solo instrumental albums and has produced various acts across the country including Scribe, David Dallas, Flowz of The Footsouljahs, Pieter T, Chong-Nee and the late Juana Kino.

Alongside KOMMI, Infectiouss co-created the spellbinding, spooky Te Reo Māori rap EP Tauwhenua, going on to win the Aotearoa Alternative Music Award for their track Tāiro featuring Marlon Williams.

Infectiouss is an accomplished live act. His collaboration and production have led him to perform and showcase his work at various prominent events including Electric Avenue, Soundsplash, and Go Live music festivals and is also a returning contributor for the annual Christchurch Hip-Hop Summit. He utilizes legacy hardware samplers and vintage beat machines to deliver distinctive performances.

Infectiouss continues to get extensive radio play for songs he has written and produced and has had various features on the official Aotearoa Music Charts over his nearly two-decade career.

Beside his musical prowess, Zac is also an accomplished visual artist, creating and displaying works in regional and national art shows as well as creating his music cover artwork. The works are designed and hand-painted utilizing a blend of multi-layer spray paint stencils and clever brushwork.

With a strong reputation as an encouraging voice for his local scene and frequently labeled as a pillar of the Christchurch music community – few artists contribute such a unique skillset and technical imprint upon the New Zealand music and art scene as Infectiouss.
