Great Sounds Great Announces Schedule

With only one week left until Great Sounds Great takes over Wellington’s Te Aro precinct, we’re very excited to share the performance schedule to help people plan their big day.

With such a massive lineup, and sets spread out over 10 stages/venues there will always be something amazing to see and hear. Whether it’s back-to-back headlining sets at Mew Nui, absolutely stacked programmes at San Fran and Meow, a collection of acts specifically curated for the beautiful St Peters church, or afterparty vibes delivered by Tonic Collective and their travelling stage, there is something for everyone. Flying Nun Stage lineup

We are also happy to announce the artists who festival partners Flying Nun Records have roped in to play at their Cuba St store during the festival. Local superstar Vera Ellen will be kicking things off with an intimate solo set, followed by stellar indie up-and-comers Menzies. A great excuse to get down early and start your afternoon off the right way!

The Night Before schedule

Don’t forget we are also throughout a mini-fest pre-party, The Night Before at three venues in Newtown on Friday 4 September. We’ve also released the schedule to that, which you can check out here.

Festival wristbands

General admission tickets are available from the link below, however there aren’t many left so get in quick. All ticket holders will receive a wristband that gives them free access to all venues throughout the festival. If you already have a ticket you will receive this and other important information via a separate email shortly.
