Sadev Liyanage is a Sri Lankan-born lyricist and creative artist based in New Zealand. He writes lyrics in both Sinhala and English, with a focus on love, emotions, relationships and personal experiences.
His songwriting work includes සුරලියේ (Suraliye), performed by Chandana Liyanaarachchi, with music and melody by Darshana Wickramatunga. He has also developed Amin, an English language songwriting project inspired by the emotions of young love.
Sadev continues to explore songwriting through original music and creative music projects, with his work available on major streaming platforms. Alongside music, he has experience in writing, editing and stage performance, bringing storytelling and creativity into his work as a lyricist.
