Fly My Pretties Announce Cast for Waitaki Arts Festival

Loop is thrilled to reveal the lineup of talented musicians set to take the stage at the historic Ōamaru Opera House this October, as Fly My Pretties bring their acclaimed live show to the Waitaki Arts Festival for one night only.

Performing in Ōamaru for the first time, this show will see them bring songs from their seventh album Elemental to life, alongside a range of the classics that have made Fly My Pretties Aotearoa’s favourite musical collective.

Led by founder Barnaby Weir, the band is joined by longtime collaborators Laughton Kora, Iraia Whakamoe and Ryan Prebble (The Nudge), Nigel Patterson (The Black Seeds) and Aaron Stewart, alongside standout vocalists AJA, Taylah and Louis TM.

They will be heading to the far south for the first time in over seven years, and performing in Ōamaru for the first time ever in their illustrious career. The band are behind songs such as Bag Of Money, Heavy Weather, All The Goodness and countless more will bring their live show to the Waitaki Arts Festival for a show not to be missed.

The Waitaki Arts Festival brings 10 packed days of music, theatre, comedy, literature, visual arts, workshops, food, wine and community celebrations to Ōamaru and the wider Waitaki. Fly My Pretties will be kicking off the proceedings on Friday October 16 with a supremely talented cast of musicians.
