Rogan & Tess are a Whangarei based instrumental duo bringing together two nylon string guitars in a percussive take on flamenco guitar. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Rodrigo y Gabriela, they blend driving rhythms and complementary playing styles.
Alongside original material, they put their own spin on unexpected covers, mixing energetic playing with quirky arrangements. Rogan & Tess is one of Rogan Mortimer’s many Northland based music projects.
