Raging Flowers Releases Satirical Single ‘Getting Into Politics’

Auckland indie-pop artist Raging Flowers is today releasing Getting Into Politics, a catchy and deliberately blunt satirical song about politicians with astronomical incomes getting into politics to make even more money.
The song uses humour to tackle themes of wealth, inequality and political power, with the intention of being funny while also giving listeners something to think about.
Written, recorded and produced entirely by Amy of Raging Flowers, the track is a fully self-produced solo recording.
While Raging Flowers performs live with a three-piece band, the recording project remains a solo project at this stage.
Getting Into Politics takes a deliberately cheeky approach to its subject matter, using satire to explore the relationship between wealth and political power. The song is intended to be funny, but also to make people think.
The single is out now on all streaming platforms. Getting Into Politics does not require a language or content warning.
