The Scale was born from the love of music. They started out as a garage band playing covers in Wellington, Hutt Valley and Kapiti, New Zealand. In 2021 following years of experimenting with tunes and lyrics they released their debut album Castle Crescent. The Scale are currently finishing their second album, which will be released in 2026.
The Scale’s music is a blend of rock, grunge and new wave which has been influenced by their six diverse music tastes.
