Tami Neilson and Willie Nelson Release ‘Too Many Mamas’
Tami Neilson has a bone to pick with Willie Nelson: Too many mamas listened to Willie when he and Waylon Jennings sang Mamas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys back in ’78, and now there isn’t a cowboy to be found from here to the city.
Turns out, the ol’ Red Headed Stranger has a confession to make: he and Waylon just wanted to keep all the pretty women to themselves. So now what’s a girl to do?!
Award Winning, CMA Nominated, Tami Neilson has been called a “fire-breathing R&B belter” (Rolling Stone) and a “full-tilt badass” (Saving Country Music), electrifying peers and fans worldwide with her powerful, emotive voice and riveting stage presence. Currently on tour across the US with Ashley McBryde, Tami will be performing the release of Too Many Mama’s at the Grand Ole Opry on Oct 29th – the same day as the single is released.
