Late to Chelsea (LTC) are a four-piece punk/alternative rock band from Auckland, New Zealand, who guarantee a down-to-earth, fun show with plenty of tunes to sing along with and endless good times to be had.

Late to Chelsea is known for their high-energy, interactive live shows that can have people laughing, crying, booing, dancing, moshing or violently hurling themselves at each other in a wall of death. Since their conception while at high school in 2019, Late to Chelsea has mastered being funny enough to distract gig-goers from how ‘terrible’ their music is. They have been labelled as “The Worst Band in Tāmaki Makaurau” by themselves and is a label they strive to live up to.

Late to Chelsea unleashed their first single Money and Me in January 2020, followed up by Fuck Wasps in June 2021. This was followed by their self-titled debut-EP LTC, in 2022.

The group is set to release their debut LP Some Good Times on October 3, 2025. Featuring heavily in Auckland’s punk scene. Late to Chelsea is one to be watched out for.

“They keep saying they are the worst, but in reality, this is one tight outfit who are self-deprecating.” – Kev Rowland, Muzic.NZ “Here we have a punk band who refuse to take themselves seriously, yet are incredibly tight and have a load of fun.”
