Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Will Luhrs is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer with a foundation in classical piano and choral training. Drawing from these early influences, Will developed a unique voice in contemporary music, blending elements of soul, pop, and R&B. He is currently an incoming student in Boston, MA, beginning his undergraduate studies at Berklee College of Music.
At just 14, Will wrote and produced his debut EP If All I’ve Got Is Love from his bedroom. The standout track With You gained over 100,000 streams and featured on Jesse Mulligan’s afternoon show on RNZ. Will later removed the project from streaming to focus on crafting more refined, intentional music.
He has performed across New Zealand in major cities including Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin, as well as performing internationally in the United States.
Will’s official debut single I’m Thinking You is an R&B-infused pop track exploring nostalgia and love, co-produced with EDY and Hales to evoke a laid-back, Sunday morning vibe.
His latest release, Take Your Time, dives deeper into soul/pop territory. Produced by Christian Tjandrawinata and featuring horn arrangements by Mathieu Silverman, the track brings together close friends from Ōtautahi/Christchurch for an intimate late-night summer sound.
