We would have to, say creating music that we all enjoy playing, we try to have a wide spread of music. At this stage we don’t want to stick to one genre or style of playing yet as at each practice we come up with new idea, different riffs and patterns to play that sound good

Where do you see yourselves in 5 years?

Hopefully playing the main stage at big day out. to be all over the radio and be touring overseas playing to thousands of people and living where ever our music takes us.

How do you keep in contact with your fans?

mostly through myspace and email and talking to people at gigs before and after we’ve played

What rumour would you like to start about yourselves?

rumours are bad

What advice would you like to give to other aspiring musicians?

Have a certain element of seriousness to practices and recordings but don’t stop having fun. also make sure that everyone in the band is heading towards the same goal what ever it may be

About the interviewer Lisa Jones

I’m Lisa, Muzic.NZ’s founder and manager. I also manage the Aotearoa Music Industry Collective as well as the Aotearoa Rock Community and the Gig Space Facebook groups. Born and raised in New Plymouth, and now based in Palmerston North – I’m married to Adam (our IT guy), and together we have 2 amazing children. Rock is my favourite genre of music, but I enjoy a huge variety of genres from old school hip-hop through to metal, punk, pop, folk and EDM. My advice to NZ musicians is to build yourself a great support network, never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and talk to other people involved in the music industry. And don’t give up.. as long as you love what you are doing, don’t stop doing it. If you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything. — MUZIC.NZ (MNZ) WEB: https://www.muzic.nz/ FB: https://www.facebook.com/muzicnetnz IG: https://www.instagram.com/muzicnz/ YT:
