New Fire is like a modern take on Robert Palmer’s 1985 hit Addicted to Love, if it was sung by a young John Mayer. Upbeat, and funky, performed with a heavy rock flair.
Mitch Alderlieste has a mature voice with a hefty hoarseness that is bound to prove a pleasant surprise to the listeners. New Fire has a simple vivacious funky beat that will guarantee at minimum, a bobbing head from the crowd, if not a full-blown dance-off.
