Hold On Single Review

Seven band members usually that would equate to a big brass/heavy beats boys club, but not this time, not with newcomers Sound the Ocean, they have a girl in their band! I feel this is what balances out the big sound, lots of instruments and puts a different spin on it.

Their second single is called Hold On which they proclaim is a “bouncy number” is a lot different to what you would hear from most classic NZ big bands. They definitely sway on the pop side of country, with really clear vocals and some harmonizing so you can sing along.

If you are looking for something easy listening with a bit of a different dimension then you will like this, and they guys in the band are pretty cool too.
