Ashes of Eden started as the side project of Leo Steffert from False Alarm and Matthys Zondagh from Supersage, soon enlisting Lester Lei from Supersage. Ashes of Eden began as a way for Leo make heavier music and as a way for Leo to do harmonies with Matthys. A little bit later Ben Trass joined to play bass and Ewan Steenburg (False Alarm) Joined as a second guitarist.
Ashes of Eden is currently working on an EP they plan on releasing later this year full of Nu Metal goodness mixed with elements of grunge and heavy breakdowns.
