Erin G is a singer, songwriter, and artist crafting her own lane in the electronic indie space. With an ever-expanding sonic palette and a fearless approach to storytelling, she creates immersive music that pushes genre boundaries while remaining deeply personal.
2024 marked a new chapter for Erin G, a creative reset that clarified her sound and the space she belongs in. Drawing from a multi-instrumental upbringing and a wide range of musical influences, Erin is now taking the reins, stepping confidently into her solo work in the electronic space.
Alongside her solo work, Erin recently collaborated with producer Altercation on a four-track liquid drum & bass EP: Dream It Again. This passion project captures Erin’s intimate storytelling alongside Altercation’s soulful approach to drum & bass, setting the palette for an EP that explores love, loss, and reflection. Both artists enter this duo with established solo careers, bringing songs from their individual catalogues into their live sets, each showcasing the depth, confidence, and creative identity they’ve honed independently. Merging their distinct worlds into a cohesive and emotionally resonant body of work has earned them performances across New Zealand’s vibrant live music scenes, including Rhythm & Alps, Rhythm & Vines, Matakanarama, and, most recently, Jim Beam Homebrew.
A notable feature on EMWA’s Show Me The Way caught the attention of tastemaker Zane Lowe, who called it “a f*ing heatrock” on George FM. She has since collaborated with artists locally and internationally across respected labels including Device, Dark Machine Records, and Kiwi imprint Let Them Cook Records; with more releases, including a solo EP in progress, and collaborations on the horizon.
