Fortitude

Fortitude are a five-piece band from Christchurch who play alternative rock/metal. While the standard guitars, bass and drums are there, the use of a saxophone on some songs enhances the musical landscape. They play strong, emotional music that is different from anything you hear today.

Fortitude formed as a 6-piece in 2002, but are now reduced to a 5-piece instrumental outfit following the departure of singer Lachlan Radford. The band is on the hunt for a replacement, but in the meantime are still busy writing new material.
