Selecting the choicest cuts from the last forty years of music and trimming all the fat, Nouveau Riche strums to the sound of swamp-city Christchurch meeting hair-rock capital Cambridge in dirty old Wellington.
Formed in late 1999 in Wellington from a chance meeting of old friends, Nouveau Riche combines garage, punk, pop, noise and indie-rock influences with their own unique experimental sounds.
Nouveau Riche have played alongside the likes of The Datsuns, Mestar, Rock n Roll Machine, D-Super, Two Lane Black Top and PanAm among others.
