OMMU’s music exists only in the moment of its creation.
A three-piece instrumental band from Ōtepoti Dunedin, New Zealand, OMMU perform spontaneous improvised psych-rock and garage-prog pieces that range from the gentle to the gigantic, from the sparse to the sonically dense.
This is true improvisation. No discussion. No plan. They just pick up their instruments and play, tapping into the unseen energy that flows between musicians that know each other well.
The band combines the talents of three long-time contributors to Ōtepoti Dunedin’s independent music scene:
