Richard Grist is a Christchurch, New Zealand-based guitarist and songwriter. In the 1990’s, he was active in the alternative rock and punk scenes, including with bands such as The Accidents. Today, he fronts the New Zealand rock band Blackhole Stars (where he also contributes guitar and vocals) and serves as lead guitarist for the rock outfit Anglebox. Alongside his band work, Richard pursues solo recording projects, creates music videos, and performs live regularly.
