Robert Glen is a Scottish born singer, songwriter and guitarist from Dundee, now based in Wānaka, New Zealand. His music is rooted in the blues, while drawing influence from British 90’s alternative and indie, alongside the guitar-driven sounds of the 60’s and 70’s.
After years of performing professionally in New Zealand, Glen has turned his focus towards his own original music. His debut album, Robert Glen & The Inversion, is an introspective and diverse collection of songs exploring growth, healing, love and loss. Rather than sitting comfortably within one genre, the album moves between different sounds and influences while maintaining a strong blues and guitar-driven foundation.
The album has been several years in the making, bringing together personal songwriting with a range of musicians and collaborators to create a record that reflects Glen’s experiences, influences and journey as an artist.
