Sam V has become one of the most watched multi-hyphenate talents to emerge from the Pacific. Auckland City’s fast rising crooner has endeared himself to many as the poster boy of Pacific R&B.
A far-cry from his days as a child prodigy singing covers on YouTube, Sam V’s exploits as a singer, songwriter and producer have amassed an array of accolades including winning Back-to-Back-to-Back-to-Back Best R&B-Soul Artist awards at the Pacific Music Awards in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. As well as winning Best Pacific producer in 2025 alongside long term collaborators Astro (Chris Brown) & EDY.
In 2025, Sam V’s distinctive output continued, releasing two projects, Take A Chance On V & Take A Chance On V: Deluxe which includes a notable collaboration with Charlie Puth, which was captured on TikTok live. Sam V also toured NZ, Australia and the Pacific, ending the year with “Small Taste” a collaboration with fellow rising artist, Jaedyn Randell.
