The Phoenix Foundation have existed since time immemorial. From high school distortion addicts to indie folk trippers to masters of motorik dream pop. They have toured with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, as Moniker they composed soundtracks for films such as Hunt For The Wilderpeople, they have sung songs on the interislander to an audience of six, and performed live to millions on Later…With Jools Holland.

Following on from 2020’s acclaimed seventh album Friendship the band have recently released their debut Horsepower on vinyl as well as releasing the single Whistling In The Darkness in late 2024.
