Toni Huata needs no introduction to New Zealand music fans. Since her introduction to the music stage as support for The Neville Brothers in 1993, Toni has appeared as a contributor to several Māori compilations.
Toni Huata’s debut album was built around her grandfather’s composition for the 1986 Te Māori exhibition ‘Te Māori E’. – the album is a smooth mix of jazz, jungle, flamenco, dub, classical, poi and traditional.
