For two days CubaDupa 2026 took over the entire Cuba Street precinct with more than 210 acts and over 220 performances, drawing tens of thousands of people into what had firmly become Wellington’s biggest street party. Billed as Aotearoa’s biggest St. Party, festival features a weekend of music, theatre, dance, spectacle, and food, with favourites like Dick Move, Tahini Bikini, and Lou’ana joining a sprawling lineup that also included Paige, RIIKI REID, MOKOMOKAI, Aro, Gut Health from Naarm, Imani‑J, and many more. Alongside the music, CubaDupa continued its partnership with the NZ Fringe Festival and the Cuba Street Summer Series, bringing large‑scale street theatre such as Dad Brigade, Clown Pope, Hausdown, BODYFX’s Makeover Mayhem, and Footnote’s Decant, all while the legendary Street Feast filled the precinct with more than 70 food vendors.
