Graeme James @ Big Fan, Auckland – 15/05/2026

It was a typical Auckland autumnal Friday evening – clear skies with a slight chill in the air. A long queue had formed outside Big Fan, waiting for the doors to open at 8pm – Big Fan filled quickly!
Opening tonight was talented singer songwriter Ben Dixon, solo for his first song and then accompanied by Graeme.

After a short break Graeme was on stage accompanied by Ben on drums and all of Graeme’s instruments.

It was a fun night enjoyed by young and old, dancing and singing along to Graeme’s subtly layered, infectious folk music. There was a small interruption to proceedings as Pascal Roggen (Albi and the Wolves) produced a replacement bow for Graeme’s visibly dying bow.

There are 7 more nights on this national tour – go you will have a great night!
