Ōtepoti upstarts, The Beatniks put on a blistering performance at Meow last night, blasting through a set of oldies such as Billy Two Late, Dance with Me and Wake Up Jane, and their new e.p., Today/Tommorow, in it’s entirety. Standouts from the new disc include the psychedelic wig-out Kettle Song and the broody hard ballad Confessions.
